Low-dose ASA did not affect LTF but decreased perfusion rate. Postmenopausal healthy women categorized as having BI-RADS D breast tissue were recruited from a regular mammography screening program and randomized to receive ASA 160 mg/day or no treatment for 6 months. MRI was performed before and after treatment. A LTF was calculated in the upper lateral quadrant of the left breast as depicted in Fig. 4A. No significant changes were detected in either group.
