A myCAF gene signature associates with poor breast cancer survival. Kaplan–Meier curve showing significant association between the patients with a high (> 67%, red) myCAF gene signature (≥ 100 FPKM, ≥ 2-fold change, adjusted p < 0.0001) and poor breast cancer-specific survival as compared to the patients with a low (< 33%, blue) signature expression with 10-year follow-up (upper, p = 0.036) and 15-year follow-up (lower, p = 0.03) in data from TCGA. No significant association was found for patients with a high (> 67%, red) versus low (< 33%, blue) iCAF gene signature. Association was tested using the log-rank test.
