Pathway analysis of the differentially methylated CpG sites in the four genomic regions with significant findings (gene body CGIs, gene body non-CGIs, promoter CGIs and promoter non-CGIs) in 5-year survivors. Sites with loss of methylation are predominantly enriched for terms related to sequence-specific DNA binding, cell adhesion and the plasma membrane, while many of the sites with a gain in methylation are enriched for terms related to the immune response. The size of the dots represents the -log10 of the FDR of overrepresentation, and the color indicates if the sites related to the term had gained (blue) or lost (red) methylation. CGI = CpG island
