ARTEMIS: A clinical trial implementing diagnostic imaging + tumor genetic signature to predict sensitivity to standard-of-care versus personalized therapy. A non-randomized trial in which patients undergo baseline imaging and molecular testing of tumor biopsy. They receive standard anthracycline-based chemotherapy and undergo ultrasound imaging after cycles 2 and 4. After completing cycle 4 and obtaining molecular testing results, the patient may elect to continue standard chemotherapy or proceed to an experimental clinical trial designed to match tumor profile and TNBC subtype.
