Monitoring circulating tumor cell (CTC) status before and after systemic treatment. Statuses are divided into four groups: (1) CTC+/CTC+: CTC+ before and after treatment; (2) CTC+/CTC-: CTC+ before but CTC- after treatment; (3) CTC-/CTC-: CTC- before and after treatment; and (4) CTC-/CTC+: CTC- before but CTC+ after systemic treatment.
