  1. CD44/Sca1 positive (+) and CD44/Sca1 negative (-) cells were obtained by cell sorting from tumor cells, mammary epithelial cells (MECs), or lungs of GFP MMT mice at indicated ages and 8 × 104 cells were injected into the mammary fat pads of wild type mice. Tumor incidence was determined 60 days after cell inoculation.
