One-way ANOVA with Tukey's post-hoc procedure on log-transformed data was used for statistical analysis as described in Materials and Methods. Bold entries are statistically different (at P < 0.05) than non-bold entries in each row. *The expression of SDC-1 in MDA-MB-468 cells is significantly higher than that in MDA-MB-231 and MDA-MET cells. **The expression of SDC-4 in MDA-MB-468 cells is significantly less than that in MDA-MB-231 and MDA-MET cells. The expression of ER1 was used as a control knowing that MCF7 is ER-positive and the other three cell lines are ER-negative.
