From: Silencing of the IKKε gene by siRNA inhibits invasiveness and growth of breast cancer cells
Knockdown of IKKε does not sensitize SK-BR-3 cells and MCF-7 cells to cisplatin and doxorubicin. Twenty-four hours after the siRNA transfection, (a), (c) SK-BR-3 cells and (b), (d) MCF-7 cells were treated with indicated amounts of (a), (b) cisplatin or (c), (d) doxorubicin for 24 hours, and the cell viability was measured by 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide (MTT) assay.
