(b) Real-time PCR assay was used to quantitate relative mRNA expression between MCF-7-VEC and MCF-7-MEK5 cells. The normalized expression folds in MCF-7-MEK5 cells were 814.15 ± 145.23 (vim), 0.01 ± 0.00 (krt8), 0.00 ± 0.00 (krt19, undetected), 1.51 ± 0.56 (hspa4), 40,637.45 ± 15,815.03 (gstp1), 0.13 ± 0.01 (gstm3), and 38.59 ± 7.87 (ckb) compared with MCF-7-VEC cells. The gene actb was used as an internal control. MEK, mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase.
