Correlation analysis of DKK3 promoter methylation with DKK3 mRNA expression in primary breast carcinomas. Tumours that are unmethylated in the DKK3 promoter express DKK3 mRNA comparable with DKK3 mRNA expression normal breast tissue, whereas in DKK3 methylated tumours DKK3 mRNA expression is significantly reduced.
