Model for SI-2 and SRC-3 KD-mediated inhibition of breast tumor progression by the tumor-suppressing immune environment. SI-2 treatment and SRC-3 KD elevated Cxcl9 levels in breast tumors and then recruited Cxcr3-positive cytotoxic CD8+, CD4 + T cells, and NK cells into the tumor. The elevated numbers of cytotoxic immune cells elevate Ifng, leading to reduced breast cancer progression.
