The Swedish national cohort of breast cancer patients includes women diagnosed with primary invasive breast cancer between 2001 and 2011. In this cohort, follow-up is complete until December 31, 2012. Individuals from the general population are matched on year of birth, county of residence, and socioeconomic status (obtained from the 1990 national census of Sweden, categorized as blue collar workers, white collar workers, self-employed workers, farmers, and others)
