Low-medium (med)-grade tumors express low amounts of nuclear CREB3L1 whereas high-grade tumors have high cytoplasmic localization. Breast tumor samples (97) were analyzed by immunohistochemical analysis (IHC) (shown on Fig. 3) and were classified according to IHC staining (a) and tumor grade (b), subdivided by tumor subtype (luminal, human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) amplified, unknown) and nuclear versus cytoplasmic localization
