Biodistribution analysis revealed that intratumorally injected magnetic nanoparticles (MNP) were not transported to the organs. Iron content was determined using flame atomic absorption spectrometry after drying and ashing of the tissues and subsequent solubilization of the samples with 65% nitric acid.
