  1. Independent prognostic value of ATM expression levels (tATM, nATM and csATM) in both malignant tumor and stromal tissues was evaluated in a multivariate model. A multivariate model was created using selected known prognostic factors such as tumor size, lymph node (LN) status, lymphovascular invasion (LVI), grade and age. Cox proportional hazards regression methods were used to calculate P value, hazard ratio (HR) and confidence interval (CI) of each variable in the model. ATM, ataxia telangiectasia mutated; HNBC, hormone-negative breast cancer; tATM, tumor ATM; nATM, tumor nuclear ATM; csATM, cancer-associated stromal ATM.
