Subcellular localization of IFITM1 and PLSCR1 in MCF-7 and MCF-7:5C breast cancer cells. Immunofluorescence staining was performed on parental MCF-7 and AI-resistant MCF-7:5C cells to assess the subcellular localization of (A) IFITM1 or (B) PLSCR1. Cells were seeded in six-well chamber slides and after 24 hours were analyzed for immunofluorescence staining. (C) The whole-cell lysates, nuclear and cytoplasmic/membrane fractions of MCF-7 and MCF-7:5C cells were detected by Western blot analysis for IFITM1 or PLSCR1 protein with β-actin and lamin B as controls.
