(a) Patients homozygous for the SULT1A1*1 allele and/or homozygous or heterozygous for the CYP2D6*4 allele. The number of events for Tam+ and Tam- were 15 and 27, respectively. (b) Patients homozygous for the CYP2D6*1 allele and homozygous or heterozygous for the SULT1A1*2 allele. The number of events for Tam+ and Tam- were 15 and 18, respectively. The relative risk for distant recurrence was calculated for each genotype; when compared, a significant decrease in relative risk was found for the beneficial genotypes (P = 0.018).
