Verification of transforming growth factor beta (TGF-β)1-regulated genes identified in microarray experiments by northern blotting. Ten micrograms of total RNA were loaded in each lane. The resulting blots were hybridized with cDNA probes specific for Akt, RhoB, PR53, calpain, actinin, Ikki, or the house-keeping gene 1B15 as a loading control.
