Examples shown are from three women with different breast densities, from each of the lowest quintile (Q1), third quintile (Q3) and upper decile (D10) of the population distribution of dense area. For each woman, the breast density segmentation process is illustrated using (A) the input mammogram, (B) the dense area outline, and (C) the dense area mask.
