Effect of QSOX1 cell/matrix adhesion. MCF-7 (A) or MDA-MB-231 (B) cells were incubated at 37°C for 60 minutes at a density of 4 × 105 cells/well in serum-free DMEM. One hour later, adherent cell numbers were determined by counting Trypan blue excluding cells. Results were expressed as the ratio between cells adhered on the plate and total seeded cells and reported as the mean ± S.D. of triplicate determinations. * P <0.05, compared to control (Wilcoxon test). This experiment is representative of three separate assays.
