Effects of Nodal blocking antibody on proliferation of human breast cancer cells. Nodal blocking antibody caused a dose dependent effect on the proliferation of MDA-MB-231 and MDA-MB-468 breast cancer cells, as determined by flow cytometric analysis (A), with the most significant effect observed with 4 μg/ml of the Nodal blocking antibody. The effect on cell proliferation was confirmed by Western blot anlysis of the proliferation markers, phospho-Histone H3 (pHH3) and proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) (B), resulting in the greatest effect with 4 μg/ml of Nodal blocking antibody.
