Sunitinib inhibits lymphatic endothelial cell functions and lymph node metastasis in a breast cancer model through inhibition of vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 3

In the experiment illustrated in Figure 5, axillary lymph node and lung metastases were confirmed by bioluminescent imaging ex vivo. Values are shown as the number of mice with metastasis in each organ. The statistical analysis is described in the Materials and Methods section. The results were considered to be statistically significant at P < 0.05. ^aP < 0.05 as compared with control.
