ERBB2-positive cells' sensitivity to palmitate is through ROS formation and ceramide production. (a) BT474 and MDA-MB-361 cells were treated with vehicle or 20 μmol/l GW9662 together with 0, 0.5, and 1 μmol/l of N-acetyl-cysteine (NAC) for 72 hours. Live cells were counted and presented as percentage of the GW9662 control. Error bars indicate the standard deviation from three individual experiments. ***P < 0.05.
