Epidermal growth factor (EGF) influences activity of Jab1 downstream genes. (a) Western blot analysis results show that upregulation of pEGFR is correlated with downregulation of p27 in both MDA-MB-231 and MDA-MB-468 cells following EGF treatment. Treatment with EGF was also correlated to an observed increase in pAKT. GAPDH was included as a loading control. (b) Immunofluorescence analysis confirmed that nuclear translocation of Jab1 was associated with downregulation of its downstream target, p27, following EGF treatment.
