Tumour growth after injection into nude mice. Athymic nude mice were pre-implanted subcutaneously with oestrogen pellets to support tumour establishment. Three tenths of a million T47D/Babe (n = 10) or T47D/NHERF-786 (n = 8) cells were injected into both sides of the mammary fat pads of each nude mouse (1.5 × 106 on each side).
