(b, c) Growth curves of mammary tumors in animals treated with dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) (b) or DHEA 8354 (c) (1,000 mg/kg in diet). In 50% of DHEA-treated tumors a net decrease in growth potential over control was observed, whereas with DHEA 8354 some animals showed a decrease in growth potential. Each curve represents an individual tumor.
