Effect of serum on the cytotoxicity of celecoxib and its analogues. MDA-MB-453 cells were treated with dimethyl sulphoxide (DMSO), Ly294002, celecoxib, OSU03012, or OSU03013 in either 5% foetal bovine serum/RPMI 1640 or 0.1% foetal bovine serum/RPMI 1640. Cell survival was measured 24 hours later using the MTT assay. Each of the treatments were tested in replicates of four and repeated twice.
