Effect of Se-methylselenocysteine (MSC) on PTEN levels in TM6 cells. Synchronized TM6 cells were treated with 50 μM MSC as described in Fig. 1. An equal amount of protein lysates (50 μg) was loaded on each lane. Immunoblots were probed with anti-PTEN and anti-actin as described in the Materials and methods section. The protein levels of PTEN in the control cells were not significantly different from that of MSC-treated cells at various time points.
